This month I thought I would share a book that was recommended to me by one of my friends on my Linkedin network. Valdemar Rusch recommended a book by two of my favorite management authors.

John Kotter and James Heskett provide a comprehensive critical analysis of how the “culture” of a corporation influences economic performance. This book is the result of research at firms like Hewlett-Packard, Xerox, ICI, Nissan, and First Chicago combined with a quantitative study showing the relationship between culture and performance in over 200 companies. The authors describe how shared values and unwritten rules impact economic success or failure.
